Reach different generations with the Good News
Teach different generations about their identity in Christ
Equip different generations to fulfil their calling
To raise a people who would serve God, serve one another & serve their community & nations with their gifts, resources and talents.
What do we mean?
This will be accomplished through community outreach, evangelism, baptism, mission trips to different parts of the world. This will be accomplished through Sunday teachings, mid-week teachings, life groups, conferences, book clubs, bible reading plan, mentoring. This will be accomplished through bible school, discipleship Leadership programmes, leadership programmers, training, conferences & workshops. This will be accomplished through serving at Chosen Church & Ministries, community projects & initiatives i.e prison ministry, tackling crimes among youth, missions, volunteering. Generations – Our vision is to reach those who don’t have real relationship with Jesus Christ with the clear message of hope, grace & radical love of God found in Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15
Teaching Generations- Our vision is to teach the people that we’re called to reach about their true identity in Christ, and teaching them that they are not who this world’s system says that they are but who & what the Word (Jesus) says that they are. Emphasis is on the truth that we are CHOSEN not because of what we have done, but because God in His sovereignty chose to love us regardless of our faults and as a result making us disciples of Christ. 1 Peter 2:9, Matthew 28:20
Equipping Generations- Our vision is to equip people to become all & fulfil all that God intended for them to become and this will empower them to live the abundant life to the full on this earth. Eph. 4: 12-16
Serving Generations- Like Jesus, we are called to raise a people who understand that they are the light of this world & salt of the earth. As a result, they serve God, one another & their communities including their nations in practical ways as faithful stewards of their gifts, talents & resources as they use those to serve their generation because they understand that we are the hands & feet of Jesus Christ. Matthew 20:26-28
